Not going to be Wire's year. A great spectacle though. Well done both sides for going out there and for Radlinski for making it happen.

The event was very good. Best stadium I’ve been in. Shame we didn’t turn up and womens match was a non event but glad I came. Not sure I’d come back to Vegas again though.
Disappointing from Wire, but I have to admit Wigan were on top of their game.
Sick to death of george Williams, most overrated player we have ever had
Wigan going to be hard to stop this year. He often doesn't get the kudos that French and Field get, but Harry Smith was sublime today.

Very sad news out of Widnes today that Dougie Laughton has passed away. Arguably one of the greatest coaching minds the game produced in this country. A leader amongst men, great player, great coach and a visionary for the sport of Rugby League.
That team he built at Widnes in the 80’s was one of the greatest club sides ever and had everything. A mix of local lads with an influence of players from Rugby Union to make Widnes, a small town become the first official world club champions was some achievement. Still mad that Widnes beat an Australian club side with the quality of players Canberra had, from Ricky Stuart, Laurie Daly, Mal Meninga, Gary Belcher, Chris O’Sullivan and so many more.
