Starts at 23:30 (UK time) as I understand it. I think the organisers need to rethink their scheduling. Bad show (n)

The adverts provide so much of the revenue that funds the game... and actually doesn't impinge upon the game time, just the overall length of the event.
The game is 60 minutes and you get the full 60 minutes - the beauty of the stopping clock in most North American sports.

Compare that to footie here where the 90-minute game rarely sees the ball actually in play for more than 60-65 minutes at best - we get short-changed with so much time wasted at throw-ins, free kicks, corners, goal kicks etc.

And why doesn't football 'stop the clock' for the VAR decisions over goals rather than leaving the allocation of added-on time to arbitrary fourth officials ?
