Digressing slightly, my Nan worked at Jacob and used bring back bag fulls of the broken stuff of the line.
Also used to get these ones I’ve never seems since called Romany biscuits iirc, they were basically like Oreo’s but the crème bit was chocolate too.

I just had such a nostalgia rush for my old gran, putting things on plates and fussing about them being eaten.

Turn up at mine and you'll get sod all, maybe half a can of pringles. But yeah, proper nostalgic here.

Romany biscuits, never heard of them, sound boss though.

Apparently, Romany biscuits are similar to Gypsy biscuits, which I've had.

Love a Tony’s but they are incredibly difficult to eat.

The biscuit layers were defo border line the same as Oreo’s - had never seen / heard of Oreo’s at that time but since they came over they reminded me of these Romany things.
Same sort of packaging as Oreo’s too but it was dark brown, writing might have been red
