The thing that pains me most isn't the fact we are shocking, the players are not bothered and there's more than a good chance we'll get relegated. But the fans attitude to it all. I have seen so many actually block @everton on Twitter, saying they won't watch another match this season or go to anymore games.

How does that help exactly? The supporters only real influence on the team is....wait for itttt....SUPPORT!

If you can't follow your team through thick and thin (mostly thick with us), then why bother at all? Go get a nice City/Chelski/Gooners/RedRubbish shirt instead and be a glory hound.

I've been a fan for 36 plus years...there really hasn't been THAT many good times, but yet I stick by 'em regardless. We had to wait from 87 to 95 before we won anything (I remember losing the Simod Cup to Luton). The Moyes era was the closest we had to success, even then we didn't win anything. While right now sucks, it's not forever.

If we end up getting relegated, there is a chance we could win something i.e. get promoted. We have to sell-to-buy in the summer anyways, so when...as its; a WHEN RIcky, Pickford and DCL leave that should leave us with a good transfer kitty to invest in a good young team. Frank has had experience of the Championship and with money to spend, I think we'll be ok.

Frank isn't the problem. The mercenary players are, the board are. It will change because it has to.

Anyways, rant over. I'm sure loads with disagree because it's easier to be negative than positive.

We'll just have to be Man Utd, do it the hard way as that is the Everton way!

COYB!

The fans are a huge part of the problem and have been over the last few years

Unrealistic expectations and a negative mindset from too many, which goes hand in hand with losing - it contributes to creating a culture of fear and anxiety rather than confidence

The player mistakes presumably are to an extent confidence related

We as fans need to do everything we can to support the team now

You can stop and blame the fans, but the fans aren’t the reason we concede three against Burnley who hasn’t scored for 3 games.

Dreadful recruitment, hideous appointments and lack of awareness have caused this.

Lampard probably has blame, but give him a break. We were sinking long before and give it take 4-5 players we aren’t good enough.

The fans aren’t the issue.

Back to back coverage through all medias doesn't help mate.
The old days of crap results on Saturday were forgotten about by Sunday lunchtime or 1st tea break on Monday.

Look at the negativity in the words here - 'dreadful', 'hideous' - this is excessive and disproportionate and doesn't help the situation

The fans at the game are supportive. The away fans are another level. You say it's easier to be negative than positive right after having a go at the players and board. Is that supportive?

What do you want? The fans to post lots of things about how happy we are to be 17th, in free fall and likely to be relegated? Yes we will be OK, but doesn't mean we are happy. What a silly post.

Just conceded 3 to Burnley, and needed 2 penalties to look like we would score. But yeah, it's the fans fault who weren't even at the game.

If its my fault, I apologise for wanting more from the players who are mainly internationals and finished top half last season playing for a club that has spent half a billion in 5 years.

Yes, if that’s you Bill, I’m very sorry.

I’m on a forum, expressing an opinion, one which I think you’ll find is very common across the fan base at the moment.

Run the club properly, and I’m sure you’ll see a difference.

I accept your apology sir. Let you be a great example to others. Bravo.

Line up, say it like you mean it and set yourself free.

Thanks for accepting. I feel free from the shackles that were holding me and this great club back. I'm sure we will now survive and win our games from here on out.

They aren't wrong though. And unless the team is having group sessions of reading through this forum, it's makes no difference and happens at every club in the world.
