Neville and Osman.

I want Fellaini and Gibson sitting with a '3' of Mirallas Naismith Pienaar behind Jelavic.

I wanted this a few weeks back but you can't change the current 4 attacking players up top, west brom aside there ripping teams to pieces.

Such a shame about valdis... Imagine Gibson and valdis behind that attacking combo... Dam u FIFA! Think we would of got top 4 with him coming in.

Such a wonderful match and result. I would like our defense to strengthen a little as I will be nervous if we start getting into 3-3 matches vs higher quality attacking opponents.

That said, I am NOT complaining as these first few weeks minus the bad calls vs Newcastle and the West Brom result have been a pleasant surprise.. (y)

I almost thought we were facing Swansea in Germany(where alcohol is obviously allowed) and not inside an EPL stadium as when I heard the away supporters singing we are going to win the league, I thought that they must have started selling beer inside the stadium.

That said, positive thinking! :)

Absolutely fantastic first half hour, stand-outs for me .. definetly Fellaini, the left side of Baines and Pienaar worked their usual magic, Vic played out of his socks (more big man, please, pretty please with knobs on). Generally very good all round.

Was not happy to see CM of Neville and Osman but we seemed to play around them, Neville had a block of note, Osman was largely anonymous. Still think that CM is our biggest weakness and needs to be addressed but if we continue to scare the **** out of opponents and attack relentlessly then maybe no one gets the chance to test out our weak CM of Neville and Osman.

Thought we looked a bit sluggish at the start of the 2nd half (again).

Not read through the rest of the stream yet but one thing that struck me was how fairly we played the game. They kicked lumps out of us (first 30 mins) but barely a grumble or simulated card waving. Swansea were lucky to have finished with 10 on the pitch.

Perhaps MOTD made that second half look more even than it was.

same this end watching ESPN highlights, [Poor language removed] made it look like an even game incredibly. They've replayed every other game today except us .. and I had to watch it muted with Bossa Nova playing in the background though didn't stop me kicking up some noise. According to ESPN stats we had 31 shots in total (that is quality attacking football in anyone's estimation)

Still buzzing here. We went after them from the first whistle and even if we don't get the result, that's my favourite type of Everton.

On the day we were just too good for Swansea. Got to follow this up in the league against Southampton next week though.

Speaking of which, I hope the match thread will contain plenty of Bally and Big Joe 8-0 memories.
