Swansea v Everton

Having qualified for next campaign's Europa League, Everton have been on the beach for the past two weeks.

The Liberty Stadium has been a happy hunting ground since the Swans’ promotion to the Premier League back in 2011.

The Blues have yet to lose a league fixture to them in Wales.

But with the Swans fighting for their Premier league lives, two points adrift of 17th place Hull, they'll be no pushovers on Saturday evening.

Three points is a must for Swansea.

Koeman says he's to blame if his side aren't motivated for this clash. That's a massive warning to his players to get the flip flops off and get those football boots back on.

The 1-1 draw at Old Trafford last weekend has buoyed the Swans. But they have injury problems.

Pacey Ecuadorian winger Jefferson Montero and Angel Rangel miss out for Swansea.

It has been nightmare season for the fans in South Wales, with three different managers at the helm.

Special mention goes to Bob Bradley, whilst being one of the worst managers to ever grace the Premier League he still managed to get a point at Goodison Park back in November.

Oh Everton, never change.

Ones to watch -

Long time Everton target Gylfi Sigurdsson is Swansea’s key man, with nine goals - one of those coming in that 1-1 draw in L4 - and twelve assists to his name this season, in what is a truly abysmal Swansea side.

It's not hard to see why some of the biggest clubs around want the Icelandic international’s signature.

Let's hope he stinks the place out on this audition in front of Ronald Koeman.

Target man Fernando Llorente has 12 goals to his name in his maiden season in the Premier League and could find himself, alongside Sigurdsson, one of the main reasons the Swans may survive.

Enough about them, onto what we're all here for.

Bad news for the Toffeemen, Morgan Schneiderlin, a massive miss and factor in last week's loss to Chelsea, is still missing.

So it's much the same squad wise from that 3-0 drubbing off the champions elect at The Grand Old Lady.

Not our best day.

Not a match review, so enough of that.

Feeling like a common occurrence but victory will elevate Everton above Arsenal into fifth, whether that's temporarily or set in stone is yet to be seen.

Everton are still waiting for only their second away victory in 2017.

A dismal record that is in desperate need of improvement.

But here's to hoping improvement is just what happens and the Blues bag the three points... and Swansea are sent one step closer to the Championship.

Up The Toffees.
Jams, Jamo, Jamo

Think we'll draw this. We're not great away from home and Swansea are fighting for their lives. Hopefully I'm wrong and we win!

Think we'll get beat tbh. Our players are on the beach now that we've not got anything left to play for whereas theirs are fighting for survival.

2-1 here unfortunately. Sigurdsson x2 for them, Lukaku for us.

We need to do all we can to not give away free kicks. Unlike at Hull in which we gave Snodgrass all kinds of chances. Gylfi will make us pay and Llorente too if he is healthy he gets his head to everything. I'd like to see some youngsters get a chance at this point as well

Nice one @Jamo Martinez , or @Tom Ferguson , unless you're the same person in which case I'll still call you Jamo ! It'll be 3-1 to the Blue Boys, Lukaku, Calvert-Lewin and Barkley for us, the Icelandic lad whose name I can't spell for them.

Actually, I'll just be glad if we score and our travelling support see us turn up to make up for our visit to the New Boleyn.

Hi Death. I work out up to four times a week, eat healthy during week days, stopped smoking ten years ago and look both ways when I cross the road. Why doth thou still pursue me so?

Don't flatter yourself. I'm on her because a goat can only handle so much obesity.

Fat Mess Lawrenson's prediction ? Shock, horror - 2-1 Swansea win. I reckon after a kick up the bum from Koeman's size 10s. A 2-0 win. A penalty would be nice.

I read the other week that Mark Lawrenson's Premier League predictions show Liverpool unbeaten and 5 points clear at the top of the league...how does this clown make a living?

I hope the players aren't coasting through these last few games because there's still a lot to play for.

If Everton wants to attract good, ambitious players in this window it won't help if we end the season failing
to beat teams like West Ham, Swansea and Watford.

OK, the Chelsea match has gone, but we won't get a better chance to win at Arsenal and we need to maintain
the momentum we've had for most of 2017, so far.

We've got European football next season. Let's show that we're capable of being competitive and not switch of
because we're not in the mood.
