Takeover bid by Peter Kenyon

"They obviously have their own interests at heart in even considering a takeover" - who doesn't have their own interests at heart?

Anybody who invests in anything expects to see a return. The best way to get a return is by making Everton more competitive on and off the pitch. If they do that, happy days.

We really need to wait and see what their plans are before writing them off.
I haven't written them off, merely expressed some reservations - no need to take umbrage. I make no bones about not liking their background, which you seem to have no qualms about.

You all don’t this club for sale is a recent development, would not be surprised if the usmanov banning was the reason it came to the fore,

this all day rather let moshiri get the correct people in than a not knowing what with someone cash kings.
The speed at which Moshiri is looking to exit the club should tell you he was nothing but a front for Usmanov and now that money has gone Farhad certainly is not going to use any of his own capital to prop the club up. Moshiri is a wealthy guy but its paper wealth not disposable cash, when you add in the costs of a stadium its beyond him and if he had to cough up for it all his own fortune would take a serious hit.

Exactly - we might not like the next guys but getting Moshiri and more importantly Usmanov right out of our club is more important than it's ever been, from a financial point for view but more importantly from a legal point of view - the Moshiri Usmanov relationship we know is cosy and under scrutiny and, while they've clearly taken steps to keep Usmanov formally away from the club, if it were ever proven that the power behind us and the money coming in was from a sanctioned individual we'd be in existential trouble.

Well for the past 6 years we've been financed by a man who is literally friends with a despotic war criminal - so we can't do much worse than that.

Beggars can't be choosers.

All this would not have happened if that mad man Putin had waged war on Ukraine.

Yeah sort of. It’s how they attempt to achieve the turn around that worries me. None of them apart from Kenyon are football people and these type of investors (in general) tend to rip businesses to the bare bones in order to make the books look good in preparation for the eventual sale and ROI.

Kenyon is a step up on any our directors or owners though. Depends how much they listen to him. If they are backing him to run the club then it makes sense. He is the advisor and the go to for the decisions with his experience.

The asset stripping is a concern but what assets do we have to strip? Buy now while the club isn’t at its peak, stabilise it, grow it and then when BMD is up and running the clubs value grows massively. Once we are at that point they may look to sell and at that point we may have mega rich buyers suited as the facilities will be top notch.

Even Chelsea is a similar buy in the means of they build a new stadium and they can shoot the value right up.

It’s Moshiri not giving a toss who or what clauses are in the deal that concerns me as much as anything. For all of Abramovich’s money and dodgyness of late, nobody can say he didn’t care about the club and he’s put things in place to ensure the clubs safety over 10 years.

so we let americans buy us and let them use is for they’re own greedy methods?

Well well well.

Maciek Kaminski = M.G. Kaminski = Matthew Kaminski = Matthew G Kaminski = Matthew Gregory Kaminski

November 2010

So make a mental note of that. Brenda Kaminski is the wife of Maciek *insert other alias here* Kaminski.

March 2011

Now when I first read this I thought Matthew Kaminski must be his son, but it looks like it's actually Maciek himself.

Soooo he just created a new LLC under his other name to take ownership of the restaurant even though he already owned tax under the previous LLC.

And as I google different names and LLCs more and more defaults and liens appear.

Here is another under a different LLC.

Here is another case - https://trellis.law/doc/16207505/SATISFACTION-OF-JUDGMENT

Pear Beta Funding LLC v basically ever single entity they own. They lost and had to repay $234,674.82.

They hired a branding agency to redesign their website... they didn't pay the invoices and got taken to court!

Just to go back to the building the use to get that $58m mortgage from Gamma Lending Omega LLC in June 2018 they attempted to sell the property 180 E. Fifth St. to First Capital Real Estate for $98m.

It turns out that too broke the terms of the contract they had with Gamma - https://casetext.com/case/gamma-lending-omega-llc-v-kaminski-1?q=Talon Real Estate Holding Corp&sort=relevance&p=1&type=case

Which is why Gamma were able to purchase the property out of receivership.

The Kaminski's still owe Gamma $2,878,245.99 as the sale didn't fully cover the costs of the loan.

@The Bobble seeing as you have the contact(s) on the 'other side'...and the platform.

This deep dive by @Azza may be of interest.

Hope you dont mind me mentioning @Azza ...

Moshiri just bloody loves football, eats sleeps and breathes it.
