Programme Director Moz Dee has confirmed the arrival of Richard Keys and Andy Gray at talkSPORT.
The former Sky Sports duo will present the mid-morning 10am-1pm weekday show, starting next Monday, February 14.
The new show will replace the Parry & Graham show after Mike Parry decided to leave the station.


The female listeners will be overjoyed ?

I called TalkSport the moment I found out Keys and Gray had been signed..the phone screener confirmed to me that Parry had RESIGNED , but wasn't sure why at the time and she had no idea about what Mike Graham was going to do once his show ends on Friday. So, the official line that Mike Parry 'left' is some what wide of the mark, as Parry has not been on the show since last Thursday ( his final live show).

Now we have to contend with one of the most boring and boorish pairings on the planet whose outlook on life have some what been tarnished of late. Parry and Graham brought a sense of fun to mid-mornings and their journalistic and life experiences brought a fresh dynamic to a very stale line-up of shows. From the Breakfast show through to the end of Adrian Durham's Drive Time, there's only so many times to you can discuss a subject like Fernando Torres's transfer or Arsenal's four goal blunder. Parry and Graham brought us both sport ( often with a very biased Blue tinted slant - even if it didn't involve Everton, Pary always found away of crow-barring us in) and general discussion. Wing-Mirrors on race horses , anyone ?

Mike Parry will be missed.. a true seeker of truth and justice amongst so many bland and pointless presenters ( Hawksby and Jacobs) and a ginger whinger who ..just gets on ya tits!)

Parry and Graham..are dead..Long live the Kings :)
 

Used to make me laugh and also cringe at times the Porkmeister, certainly more entertaining then that Gaunty, seems he's done quite well since being sacked..... mores the pity.

We have lost a voice in the media though, and the show will just become an ego massage for the sky 4, unless they seek to damn them to get back at sky ? Talksport has been so much up the Analfield Back Door since King Kenny of the Homo's has been back, and saying how wonderful the kopites were yesterday as well for self policing some fans that were getting out of line.

Maybe Gray will see a chance to give his former clubs some exposure instead though.

It cant get any worse for Talksport either. I used to listen but gave up about 4 yrs ago because it bored me. Seems like its biting a bullet now. They'll lose a lot of listeners I recon. Especially female's. Johnathon Ross anyone?
 
I'll still listen to H&J but Mike Parry's departure will leave a massive hole in my day as he was talkSPORT as far as I was concerned and no one - least of all (as much as he was a hero of mine in the 80s) Andy Gray or Keys (yawn) - can replace him. I wonder if Porky resigned because he knew G&K were being signed up?

To sum up... :(

Mind you, he doesn't give Keys his blessing. How about getting rid of that idiot Ronnie Irani and teaming Andy up with big Al? I bet that'd confuse a few!

It was my theory too that he quit due to the appointment of Keys and Gray. I hope Mike is on the air again soon..somewhere , maybe even with Mike Graham. Or maybe even at Goodison in some capacity!!
