Does anybody have any? Ive got two- both very small On the tops of my arms. One is my name in cantonese that my old university friend designed for me.

The second has got a bit of a weird story about it, when I went to uni I wanted to be a film maker and at the same time the Blair witch project came out. They made the film with hardly any money, but because of all the hype about it and people thought it was actually real footage it went mental and they made millions. That was my aim and I got the blair witch project symbol tattoed on my right arm.

Im thinking about getting another one, slightly bigger on my back. I want it to go from below my neck down to the middle of my back:

Its the 7 deadly sins in symbol form.

Anyone got any ideas what i could have?

My arms didnt hurt at all, my friend had one on her ankle she said it was extremely painful.

What do you think of the design for my back?

And Micknick, I dont want to be rude asking this, but Ive seen alot white guys with chinese symbols tattoos.

Why get chinese symbols? Of course you may have an affiliation with China, but whys it so popular with people who obviously arent chinese, and have nothing to do with China? I hope you dont think Im racsist or anything, I just always thought it was really ususual.

McBain, it would be crap if I just got my initials in English. Cantonese symbols look cool and they still have a meaning.

Already got 2 on my arm. Went in plastered like when I was 16 but still what they didn't know didn't hurt. Nah seriously tattoo's are nowt they don't hurt a bit infact mine tickled.

Ok the picture I posted isnt chinese symbols- its the latin symbols for the deadly sins- which is quite different to what most people get.

The cantonese writing I have on my arm is because my cantonese friend wrote my name out in her language and I thought it looked beautiful. My name is Michael Hill and translated into cantonese is (say it hows it spelt) Makay little mountain. (what is a little mountain?! yes a hill)

I have got two completely original tattoos that no one else I know has anything close to. I like to be different and I personally dont like all the celtic arm bands or chinese symols for this and that.
