So the kids are late, pick their own punishment from a list made by the whole class & the teacher gets suspended? That's [Poor language removed] bullshit.
I remember watching something on the telly where they basically taught a load of kids in the same style as school was taught years ago (think it was in the 60s) & because current laws prevent the punishments of the day being used (the cane) they made them put their arms straight & hold onto these reasonably heavy weights. The behaviour of the pupils improved no end & since then I've wondered why in this age of childhood obesity it's not been picked up on & used a lot more.
Now it's clear, it's because instead of rewarding teachers who think of good methods to teach kids properly, the knobends in charge suspend them. I [Poor language removed] hate the way this country is run
