Team for Krasnodar at home...

Player Valuation: £70m
After the debacle that was last night (Hull), I want to see the reserves line-up against Krasnodar with maybe Besic anchoring the midfield and Hibbo as the 'experienced' player at the back. Atsu up front with McAleny, Robles is goal... all the kids... and their coaching staff on the side lines.

Let's see what the youngsters can do without inhibiting them. It's a nothing game, so there's no pressure on them, and actually, seeing some of the youth we're told are our future might encourage the crowd to get behind them, as surely the kids will be hungry to impress and stake a claim for more senior involvement.

El Bob can sit in the stands with the rest of the first team squad, some of whom evidently need a rest (Sterling style) according to El Bob in his 'we didn't have the energy to get a winning goal' summary of last night.

and hence he didn't feel the need to use the 3rd sub.

Cheers,
G.Deulofeu

i strongly feel we should play Osman and McGeady in this match.

Senior players with experience at the top of their game

Why ?
It's a nothing game and we need to give the kids the confidence boost of going out there and playing as a group.
If we only play three or four of them, it'll be a wasted exercise in my eyes, I want to see as many of them as possible... and if Kone is fit, play him too.
To my mind, there is absolutely no mileage to be gained in anyone other than Besic from the first team squad playing against Krasnodar.

browning, garbutt, Robles, mcaleny, kone, atsu, besic, ledson, pienaar, Kenny & Oviedo should all start....don't even care what positions....and Sheedy should manage the team....

Robles
Kenny Browning Galloway Garbutt
Ledson Grant
McAleny Pienaar Oviedo
Kone

Youngsters and some match fitness for returning players.

Seriously? (Since I actually made the dubious decision to come over for this one...)

Robles, no question.

Defence needs at least one old hand or else they'll sink and since he's the captain Jagielka gets to shoulder the responsibility. Garbutt on the left and Browning/Galloway in the other two spots, wherever they fit best.

Midfield - I'd be tempted to put Barkley and Besic in, but depends whether or how much they play at the weekend. Oviedo (assuming he is a sub on Saturday) on one side, Atsu on the other. Ledson should get his debut. Quite like the idea of testing Baines in midfield but it depends how fit/knackered he is.

Forwards McAleny and Kone.

Other candidates: Grant, Long, Duffus

I am sure he will use it to give Kone, Oviedo, Peinaar, Garbutt, Naismith (hopefully), Hibbert and Eto'o some game time.

Maybe Galloway and McAleny on the bench.
