browning, garbutt, Robles, mcaleny, kone, atsu, besic, ledson, pienaar, Kenny & Oviedo should all start....don't even care what positions....and Sheedy should manage the team....

Why Pienaar - just to give him a run out ?
No way, play the kids and Kone/Oviedo if fit !!

The first name I want to see on the team sheet is Atsu.

The one thing he has looked in his fleeting appearances is lightning fast and that is what we are crying out for.

Unlike many round these parts, I don't feel we have seen enough of him to just write him off as being of no account.

Our goal last night showed how dangerous it can be when a man gets to the bye line and picks out a player to cut the ball back too.

We need to be giving Rom more of that type of service.

Happen Atsu has the tools to provide it.

Robles.
Hibbert, Galloway, jagielka, garbutt.
Atsu, Ledson, osman, Oviedo.
Kone, McAleny.

Fill the bench with the kids, maybe Eto'o would be one hell of a mentor for the likes of McAleny. It will be important to have Jagielka on the left side with garbutt and hibbert mentoring Galloway. Osman can fill in midfield with Ledson, oviedo covering Garbutt, Kone and Atsu getting game time.

I also agree were possible to have martinez allow Ferguson or Sheedy/Unsworth a chance to take the reigns under his stewardship.

I agree almost completely with that team although feel Jagielka needs resting so either have Hibbert in the centre and Kenny at right back or maybe Browning - looked ropey in the reserves against Sunderland - but definitely Galloway at LCB because the sooner he looks capable the better so Distin can be eased out or rotated.

Also surely Gibson will be fit for this one so he could take Osman's place and really would like to see us mix it up a bit and try a different formation like 4-4-2.

BTW what has happened to George Green?

Pienaar, Kone, Oviedo, Gibson (if back) for the match practice and Robles, Hibbo and Atsu and then youngsters for the rest.

I forgot about green, the few times i have seen him he looks good, commanding, little bit cynical but with good passing. I would have him on the bench if its possible. I also like the look of Duffus, Hallam Hope is out on loan as is Lundstram ?

Disagree I'm afraid as in my opinion, we would be much better off playing Robles and side full of kids with maybe Besic (up and coming) and Hibbo (as the token experienced player). By all means play Oviedo and Kone if fit to see how they perform and Atsu to use his undoubted pace, but we would gain and learn zilch from playing Pienaar and Gibson other than them getting a run-out. Have Eto'o on the bench and aware that he may be needed to go on at any time as a calming, cool-headed mentor - I'd imagine the kids will listen more readily to him than (no undue disrespect) Jags.

We need to see the kids en-masse and they need to play and grow as a group, and what better than to give them a go against a side who have nothing to play for and will then hardly be likely to kick lumps off our players ... German and Spanish clubs bring their youngsters on as a group and they, as national teams habitually win and get that winning mentality... something we currently LACK BIGTIME !!!
