Tell Me Something I Don't Know!

Never chopped, always whole, and good authentic Italian (canned) ones at that. Used a whole large bulb of garlic as well. As it'll cook for 10+ hours, it'll be beautiful and really deep in flavour.
I don’t mind it with or without tomato’s but there’s seems to be some debate if tomatoes should be involved or not, with Chilli traditionalist factions turning their noses up at anyone who uses them.
🇲🇽🤷🏻‍♂️

Whilst convalescing today, I have very slowly made around 2kg of chilli con carne. It's primed in the slow cook and I've a day at the hospital tomorrow all day, so it'll slow cook whilst I'm being messed about there and I can come home to a prime feast and then some.
Make it with this stuff amongst other things...

Soured cream and grated cheese, rice n chips. Can of lager.

Got to have a treat now and again.
So why ruin your treat with a lager?

I'd swap the chips, for nachos covered in cheese, warmed in the oven.

Hedgehogs can be pregnant with multiple hoglets by multiple fathers a the same time.
So I thought about this for a minute - doesnt this apply to all mammals who have an ovulation period and can carry litters. For instance in the dog world bitches on heat might be kenneled with different stud dogs daily. when they have a litter there's often a big one and some medium size and some runts but it all evens out after a few weeks and its because they were 'cocieved' at different times during the heat period?

I dont think so. I was under the impression it was quite(but not totally) unique. Hedgehogs are quite solitary and I guess it protects against genetic/inbreeding issues.

In the words of harry hill ‘I’m no expert ….’
