1. Cottee
2. Heath
3. Nigel Martyn
4. Beardsley
5. Radzinski
6. Piennaar
7. Kinchelskis
8. Campbell
9. Parkinson
10. Stuart

1. Don Hutchison
2. Tony Grant
3. Joseph Yobo
4. Mikael Madar
5. James Vaughan
6. Thomas Myhre
7. Manuel Fernandes
8. Royston Drenthe
9. Francis Jeffers
10. Michael Ball

I'd love to see a team containing all of the above. Although we'd only have ten players and one of them would be Myhre in goal so the formation would be 2-4-4:

Myhre
Yobo Ball
Grant Fernandes Hutchison Drenthe
Vaughan Madar Jeffers

I honestly think we would win the Premier League.

Im only going to name one for now, but he was (is) one of my favorite players to ever wear the EFC shirt.

Adrian Heath. I thought he was fantastic, and as a young kid going to games for the first time (I started going regularly the season before we bought him), he was the face of my favorite team. I love the little man.

I really believe that if Brian effin Marwood had not crocked him, he would have gone on to score about 30-35 goals for us in 84-85, then been absolutely boss for us along side Sharpy for a long time. He was WAY better than Andy Gray (liked him too though) and we would never have had to by Lineker.

In the 5-0 drubbing of Man Utd - they couldn't handle him. He was so tenacious.

So underrated and because he got that awful injury, never fulfilled potential. He would have been an Everton Legend.

He struggled initially, maybe it was the weight of the transfer fee or the fact the dome couldn't decide whether he was a midfielder/striker but around about the time of the Brock backpass something just clicked with Inchy,he became seriously ace as you say but for the injury who knows what more he could have achieved,I for one don't think Lineker would have been required,Inchy may not have notched quite as many as him but he was a far more rounded player than Lineker and it says it all that although Inchy's wings had been clipped by that dreadful challenge we came back post Lineker to reclaim the title.

Yeah, totally agree with you Dario. He did struggle at the beginning, but he NEVER stopped trying and gave it his all. I watch Lukaku now and when things are not going right for him, he disappears from games and just wanders around aimlessly. Inchy never did that, always battling to try and turn a game.

He was great at "pinching" the ball from cumbersome centre backs, like you say with his chasing and harrying, some fella's do that to curry favour with the fans to cover their failings in other areas but Inchy did it as part of his game and also intelligently IMO.
