I thought some of our football was fantastic on Saturday, quick, sharp interplay. The confidence is coming back for so many players: Saha, Arteta, Rodwell, Bily. All look so much better, every game. Sure I think the way Blackpool played so openly allowed us to do it but take nothing away from our play either.
All the goals were great, the interplay between Bily and Jack for the first.
The second was just a beautiful goal, worked all he way up from the back, where we had a free kick in our own box (they didn't touch the ball between us taking the free kick and scoring).
The third was the most scrappy but the influence Cahill had on it is there for all to see, he goes in and three or so of their players, desperate to stop him reaching the ball and it left Louis to clean up on the back post.
Beckford's has already been talked about, just fantastic from both players.
Then the 5th, breathing space, the type of chances we've been messing up all season and have been made to pay. This time Felli gets it and releases an inch perfect pass at the right time to set Saha galloping away, showing pace, power and confidence that we've so lacked.
It's amazing what confidence can do for a team. We look a totally different one when we have it. They suffered set backs on Saturday, they fought back, and showed a real belief they were going to get back into it. Not hope, belief.
