The 2014 Championship Play Offs Thread

i think the 4 play off teams should play the 4 teams above the 3 relegated in the prem over 2 legs, If the prem team wins, they stay up. If the championship team wins they go up.

Horrible idea, just horrible.

Sorry, memory goes back to Smith and Walker eras.

My latic friend came with me to Goodison for the Crystal Palace game (well, he came twice actually, for the Crystal Palace game...), and tonight I am jumping on the 6.01 from Lime Street to meet him for the Wigan play-off game. I have never been to the DW before, nor have I been to watch any football in the FL. The only two teams I've ever gone to watch are Southport and Everton. I'm quite excited by it - but having looked at Wigan's ticketing website, the empty seats suggest that most pie-eaters themselves aren't so fussed.

Like I say, I've never been there before and I would be grateful if anyone could tell me how far a walk it is from Wigan North Western station to the stadium and whether it's worth going up early to soak in any 'atmosphere'.

Around 20-30 minute walk.

Don't forget your space suit. More atmosphere on the moon. I've seen Palace and Everton there.

Good QPR following. Awful game, though.

Junior Hoilett's not a bad player. Could we get him on the cheap if they don't get promoted?
