Willie Kirk says Christiansen likely out 2-3 weeks with calf strain. Kelly should be fine for next week.
Willie Kirk says Everton have “one more to come in [hoping for a senior international" in the next few days ] and one more to go out” in the transfer window.

Why is most of the print on here in bold black? It puts anyone off reading it. How many turned up for the game?

I like it in bold mate, it holds my attention so ignore @everton1953 please lol

Don't do anything special for me I am not worth it. Bold print is similar to capitals, which puts people off for some reason. You would never for instance send emails in bold or in capitals. rant over.

How many of you support the womens team? I just can't get excited about womens football, maybe a generational thing but womens football has always been extremely poor until recently.

Ive always watched it but more seem to take notice since England womens games,or some just seem to know the Everton womes team are around when they see they are playing Liverpool, some games are pretty decent, some are not, like all football really

Watched the highlights, which are admittedly very brief, and I thought Everton on that short extract were truly awful.
They played not brilliant but did ok overall, but trying to win at city against a team with 3 defeats in 5 years at home-2 v Arsenal,1 v Reading,[last defeat nearly 2 years ago] and only 5 goals conceeded was always a tall order, arsenal, chelsea, city are classed no surprise as the big 3 in womens footy

I realise it's improved a hell of a lot and they are much much more technical than they used to be and seems growing in popularity. Maybe the nonsense going on in the mans game and the elitism is turning people onto the womens game.

Yeah we are years away from the City, Arsenal and Chelsea teams but its great to see we've been recruiting a better standard of player.

Years ago we had a cracking side until the rs cherry picked all of our better players along with City. Great to see the rs struggling themselves now whilst we look to be on the up.

It is a delicate subject which gets some folk upset when they hear criticism. One problem is the awful commentaries which sound as though they have taken a vow not to say anything critical, but be always super positive. Unless the standard of the teams below City and Chelsea etc improve dramatically the game will go nowhere. Money is probably the part answer, but who would pay it?

When you see things like that, knowing pretty much the top 3 are the same, you can see why some women teams just fold
