SUNDAY 1ST NOVEMBER 2.30PM KO
VITALITY WOMENS FA CUP 2019/2020 FINAL
EVERTON WOMEN 1 MAN CITY WOMEN 3 AFTER EXTRA TIME

Everton Women came into what was the Biggest match they had been involved in for years infront of a worldwide Tv Audience and the England Boss Phil Neville as Massive Underdogs, hoping to win there 3rd FA Cup in 6 attempts and 1st since a 3-2 Extra Time win v Arsenal in 2010 in the the 50th Final of the Women's FA Cup, They were up against one of the toughest Opponents they could face in the Current Cup Holder's Man City who were also going for there 3rd FA Cup win in 3 attempts, also there 3rd in 4th years, Man City Have had an Indifferent Start by their very High Standards, But there could be no better time for Everton Women on the biggest stage there could be in England to break the current terrible Record of 13 successive Defeats stretching back to 2012, Everton made it to this 5month delayed Final by beating London Bees 1-0 in the 4th Round, winning away 5-0 to Bristol City in the 5th Round, Beating Chelsea at Goodison in september 2-1 and giving them there 1st defeat in 17 Months in a rare lost in the Quarter Final, then winning away in the Semi Final to Birmingham 3-0 just a few days later, Man City are unbeaten in 9 FA Cup games going back to there last lost in the Semi Final of the 2017/2018 comp to Chelsea, 2 Ex Everton Players and Current City Stars Chloe Kelly and Esme morgan who was on Loan at Everton Last Season would very bizarrely get Winner's medals win or lose due to helping Everton Women making it to this Final,

There would be no Claire Emslie today due to only been able to register 6 players for the FA CUP from new signings in the summer due to this been last season's cup - we had 7 new summer signings. Valerie Gauvin and Maeva Clemaron collected the honour of beomming the 1st French Players to play in an English Cup Final

Onto the match and the First shot on target of the game came City’s Chloe Kelly. Sandy MacIver has plenty of time to collect the ball safely as the shot is weak and easy in what was a positive start by Man City. Everton had a bit of a chance on 16mins when Hayley Raso robs the ball in the middle off Steph Houghton and she's through one-on-one with the keeper. Lucy Bronze gets back and slides in bringing Raso down and been given a yellow card, If Raso could get back up she had a open goal,From the Resulting Free kick Dan Turner take's it but hits it into the wall. The rebound falls to Damaris Egurrola but she fires over [Chance Below]. Everton keeper Maciver then stoped a Chloe Kelly shot bottom left after Kelly cut inside Past Dan Turner on 21mins [Chance Below], MacIver then came out quicky and bravely at the feet Of Mewis to save that shot after she was played through, on 34mins Moe Wold breaking down the right finds Gauvin in the box with a pinpoint cross. But The header goes wide under pressure from Gauvin, But City took the lead on 39mins
Greenwood delivered from the right and Sammy Mewis scored with a brilliant towering header to turn it into the back of the net. Right on Half Time Gauvin is went down in pain and did not look in a good way after Houghton caught her with the follow through. after Gauvin had a half chance but it was City who went into Half Time with the 1-0 Lead

Gauvin for Everton's sake somehow made the 2nd half when it did not look likely, on 54mins it was so close to 2-0 when Caroline Weir hit the post after some clever movement and then MacIver pulled off a contender for save of the competition and the season with a Stunning save getting back up in time to make a wonder save [save below], but on 58mins Everton drew Level when Man City keeper Ellie Roebuck produced a superb save to deny Demaris Egurrola but completely misses the resulting corner and it goes in off the back of Valerie Gauvin's Ponytail, Everton were so very close to going ahead of 71mins when Sorensen down the left put in a super cross and Gauvin getting there 1st just headed wide with the keeper having no chance [Chance Below] - I thought it was in-that chance was so similar to the goal The Girls scored v Chelsea in the Q/F, Stanway then shot wide on 81mins for city but Maclver looked to have it covered, Nicoline Sorenson's whipped in cross/shot then had the city keeper tipping it over on 85mins,it also clipped the bar on the tip over, Mewis then shot over on 88mins, Chloe Kelly on 89mins after a cross from the right then shot over, But City should have won it in Injury time when Demi Stokes down the left crossed to Caroline Weir who fired over 1st time when it looked easier to score, even then City were so close a minute later in the 5th minute of Injury time when Caroline Weir this time smashed the Cross bar this time she was unlucky in a one two, but the Whistle went for Full Time to send this game into Extra Time

Everton Women's Players were so tired and at the start of E/T it seemed like they were having problems just trying to keep up the pace having not settled into it, Boye-Hlorkah took a shot that was over on 102mins after cutting in from the left, Stanway then took a shot through the crowded box that just went wide, Finnigan A minute then got across to just about clear the ball away before Stanway could send it into an open net in what looked a certain goal [Chance Below]. But even then and a minute later a quite Brilliant save from MacIver tipped Houghton's goalbound header onto the post [Chance Below], Everton were hanging on a lot but in a cruel moment Man City took the lead with 9mins of Extra Time left when Stanway squeezed the ball under MacIver after a through ball from Jess Park, a 3rd goal came about when Everton were trying to draw level via Georgia Stanway who had just the keeper to beat and she did, Everton had put so much effort into the game and came out this match with so much credit but came Runner's up and proved that they can as good as match City even though City in reality deserved the win and retained the cup to become the 1st team to do so since Everton, Maclver rightly named player of the match

Everton now play Man Utd in the Women's Conti Cup Wednesday in a must win game in reality or they are almost certainly out that comp with one game to go in the Group stage which is the Women's Derby in 2 weeks

Yet you are the person who keeps bringing it up now.....

This, the derby game will end up destroying our season (as usual). They lost VVD but managed to inure Rodriguez and we’ve lost Richarlison. We’ll probably lose all three games they’re out for whilst Liveprool haven’t been affected by one player.
If you take three world class players out of any team (Richarlison Rodriguez and Digne) then they would struggle.
that’s because they’re never without them. When was the last time they started a match without their five best players?
This, we can’t just struggle through some tough games, we get one thing that doesn’t go our way in the Liverpool game and we go and lose two or three on the spin.

Obsessed with them yer flump.

one of those comments isn’t even about them. One of them is about our game against them when Richarlison got suspended and James got injured which is just a fact. You’re reaching a bit here.

If you disagree with the view point just disagree with it, there’s no problem with that. Not sure why you’re making a crusade out of it though.
