Some WSL games are expected to be used as a test in september to allow fans back in normal which i think is going to be announced tomorrow, when ever that is for fans to be back normal ish [october i think]

As said few weeks back, its more than the 6 months loan it looks like as its the season, she was due to go back to USA in Feb/march,its the 3rd time shes worked with Everton boss Willie Kirk

Everton Women have signed Scotland international forward Claire Emslie on loan from US side Orlando Pride for the 2020/21 season.

The 26-year-old brings a wealth of trophy-winning experience to Everton and links up again with Blues boss Willie Kirk.

The pair have worked together at Hibernian – where they helped the Edinburgh side win the 2011 Scottish League Cup – and Bristol City.

Having started her senior career at Hibs, Emslie first moved to America in 2012 having earned a scholarship at Florida Atlantic University.

During her three years at the university, she represented their Florida Atlantic Owls soccer team.

The talented attacker joined Bristol City in 2016 where her impressive form caught the attention of Manchester City and she moved to the WSL high-fliers the following year.

Emslie was part of the City team that won a Women’s FA Cup and League Cup double in 2018/19.

She returned to the US to join Orlando following the 2019 Women’s World Cup before moving on loan to Australian top-flight team Melbourne City last November, playing an important role as they secured the W-League title.

Emslie, who made her senior Scotland debut as a 19-year-old back in 2013, has won 28 caps for her country.

She becomes Everton’s sixth summer signing following the arrivals of Poppy Pattinson, Ingrid Moe Wold, Nicoline Sorensen, Rikke Sevecke and Valérie Gauvin.

“It’s really exciting to be here,” Emslie told evertonfc.com.

“The Club is really trying to grow and is on a journey. It’s definitely moving in the right direction.

“I’ve worked with Willie at Hibs and at Bristol and both my experiences were amazing.

“He’s someone I believe can get the best out of me – and that’s what I want to produce at Everton.”

We have pulled off another master stroke and beat Barcelona women to her signing when its officially announced, though we didnt have to pay a fee, if she stayed in spain spanish clubs they had to pay 225k due to clauses in her contract, Damaris Egurrola is in Liverpool in quarantine ;)

Great to see the women's side of things looking very healthy indeed. Brilliant article that on the previous page regarding Kirk and getting the deals over the line.

Really looking forward to seeing if he csn get all the new signings to gel and hit the ground running.

Another very decent performance by sounds of it overall from the Everton Girls though they had some pressure 2nd half, this time winning 5-0 v Durham at Walton Park in the last Pre Season game [ Finnigan, Sorensen, Christiansen, Boye-Hllorkah [2] - Christiansen set 1st 2 up], before the big kick off next week to go with the 5-0 win v Blackburn midweek,3 of the goals today came last 5mins, as usual any game not on BT etc is on the FA PLAYER-not sure if FA Cup game v Chelsea will be on the FA Player or not as its only due to be one game a round and game was picked as Arsenal v Spurs

In Pic Magill, Sorensen and Aus superstar Raso

A dynamic central midfielder, Egurrola established herself as an important player for Bilbao and played 20 matches in the shortened 2019/20 campaign, scoring two goals.

Everton manager Willie Kirk said: "When the chance to sign Damaris was presented to me, it was an opportunity we simply couldn’t turn down. It's another big signing for us and another sign of our ambition and intent.

"She is already at a very good level, shown by the fact she has been capped for the Spanish senior team at a young age, and her potential simply has no ceiling.

"She can be a world-class midfielder in the future and I’m excited to help her realise that potential.

"Damaris is very ambitious and is going to fit perfectly with the group of players we have assembled.

"She adds a nice balance to an already very talented midfield and gives us good options with her attributes and flexibility.

"Damaris is currently in quarantine and so by the time she joins the group she’ll be a bit behind everyone else, having missed all of our pre-season, but we’ll work with her over the coming weeks, and Everton fans will see her in action as soon as possible."

The 1st 2 league fixtures have been said for Everton women

Sunday 6 September 2pm ko
Bristol City v Everton

Sunday 13 September 2020 1pm ko
Everton v Tottenham Hotspur

Its a debut for Poppy Pattinson at the team we just signed her from and also our 3rd season in a row staring away ,and we also won 5-0 in the cup at Bristol city in one of the last games before the Lockdown - we didnt get the chance there in the league, while v spurs Everton won 3-1 and somehow manged to lose the away game 2-1 in a so one sided match for 65mins

The Rest of the fixtures will be announced in early September once PL/EFL games have been announced.
After a 4 week wait, the rest of the WSL Fixtures have now been announced and here they are.

Nothing has seen said yet,but they were suppose to trail a few games to test it,but have not seen anything said about that either

Consider most of the capacity is outside and not seated, you would think it should be straightforward enough. Provide individual portaloos as well.

I reckon the increased demand will definitely be there, in light of restricted capacity at Goodison. It should be seen as an opportunity to build up the habit of going to Walton.
