A double Danish... good times!

No idea how competitive Rangers are but a good start to the pre-season regardless.
They had pretty much a near full strength team and they start their league next week, so are many weeks ahead in their preparation

Everton Women's New Swedish duo of Nathalie Bjorn [Below] and Anna Anvegard have made it to the Women's Olympic Final and will be Going for Gold v the Canada Women who pulled off a surprise win v the USA Women

Eight years on from her last outing for the Club, Toni Duggan was back in an Everton jersey over the weekend for the first time since she re-signed for the Blues.

Having joined the Toffees after four years in Spain with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, Duggan linked up with the squad last week and capped it off with some minutes against Blackburn Rovers in a practice match at USM Finch Farm.

And, with a massive grin on her face, the 30-year-old described what it meant to be back in blue.

“It felt so good,” she told evertonfc.com.

“It’s so nice to be back in the shirt, be back at Finch Farm and I’m enjoying my time with the team so far.

“It’s been nice to get this shirt back on, in my number nine as well.

“It’s been a while; a lot has changed in those years.

“But it’s still the same great Club from when I was here as a kid.

“I’m just so happy to be back.”

Duggan is one of seven signings the Club has made this summer to add to an ever-growing, competitive squad.

While pre-season is a time to build up match fitness ahead of a new campaign, the England international is taking this time to get to know her new teammates and coaching staff.

It's group she says she is delighted to be a part of.

“It’s been nice. It’s a really good group,” Duggan added.

“There are some familiar faces from the girls that I have played with before, like Gabby George and Izzy Christiansen.

“We’ve got a few girls to come back from the Olympics who have done really well out there.

“The girls have been amazing so far. It’s a really easy group to fit into.

“It’s been easy coming back home.”

Duggan’s first week in camp has also been an opportunity to get to know her new manager, Willie Kirk.

She explained how she is relishing the chance to learn more from him during the campaign.

“All of the staff, Willie Kirk, [assistant manager] Chris Roberts, they’ve been brilliant.

“I had a few conversations with Willie before signing and I like his enthusiasm and the way he thinks about the game – and he way he works with the girls, his player management skills.

“I’m looking forward to working more closely with him over the course of the year.”

Exclusive - We will sadly be saying goodbye to a big name player soon [all will be revealed in due course], while we are still in talks with the Swedish wonder kid and Scott ?

For the Record seems as we have still not said this, and if no one guessed, this is Hayley Raso, she left us well over a month ago and 3 weeks ago had a deal lined up to go Man City women, if she still ends up there ;) . The Swedish wonder Kid i think is going to happen but until its signed and sealed you just never know as 4 other teams have a deal agreed for her but she wants to come to us - Window closes 2nd september

Sad to see Hayley go as with all the ladies that left, but very excited for the season with the new recruits coming in.....
