Same old story, Sorensens insistence.on having the girls play out from the back is criminal. Megan isn't comfortable at all receiving the ball. She's a defender who wants to defend, not play risky sideways passes across the back but that's what he has them doing game after game. Could have been about 5 down if it wasn't for Brosnan, though she was at fault for the goal.

Midfield completely non existent, not one of them standing up to be counted in the middle of the park and up top we are completely isolated.

Clinton for them has been excellent, completely bossing the game.

Meg hates the way we play and has told me that, but off course they are under orders to play that way, Sorensen flat out said he wanst changing his ways a few weeks ago, he needs to mix it up a bit, having a million % possession and going nowhere helps no one. The odd time we got to the final 3rd it was passed back - Katja was a touch unlucky with her header though - Way to many injuries for us this season but that doesnt mean we cant play better - Lucky to only be 1 down and we nearly made it somehow to HT without conceding

You can tell its through orders. I'd say none of the defenders want to play that way and it won't work when your midfielders don't have the confidence/ability to receive the ball in tight spaces and turn with it

Agree with all that, when 1-0 the only thing i would think of been a spurs fan, is thinking we will end 1-1 when it should be 5/6-0
 
Yep Spurs should have won that comfortably with the chances we gifted them losing the ball in poor positions. Aside from that a fairly even game, I thought, although we created very little until late on. Looked a bit better when we had the three forwards on and Piemonte in particular had some nice touches and gave us a focal point. Great penalty by Galli. Overall a bit fortunate but take that result against Tottenham with the form they’re in.
