I went yesterday - East London is my neck of the woods - great result if a little fortunate to keep a clean sheet. Needed some poor finishing from West Ham and a couple of great saves from Brosnan. I was right behind the one she put onto the post a couple of minutes before we scored, brilliant save. As others have said the playing out from the back continues to baffle, we clearly look nervous and the amount of times we put ourselves under pressure needlessly was mad. Brosnan POTM imo and I thought Payne and Bennison had good games too.

Who will we expect to see on Wednesday? Assuming younger players to get more time?
A lot of Younger players are due to be playing (If no change of mind) - They where told last week. We are using it as a nothing game, despite it been a Derby, as it means nothing as in we cant get out the Conti Cup group. The game is also live on Everton Kick/YouTube, but i will be there as ever

Thinking about depth for the women's side - does Everton field any academy teams in the lower Women's leagues? Is there such a program? I found an FA WSL Academy program, but don't see any information about it this season. Thx

They got rid of the Academy last season, because of a new PGA (Proffessional Games Academy) - its a new model that is supposed to bridge the gaps between the academy and step up in to open age. But we have never said it in the open. A lot of our Academy players either went on a loan, or just left, or some have trained with the 1st team, all the way since. The Likes of Abby Clarke for me is a very good young player, she was starting v Man Utd last month, but dislocated her shoulder on the day we did a Live training session the week before - Elena Sadiku was brougt in as maternity leave cover as boss for the u21s but has never had a game as boss - she now basically jus helps young players for the 1st team

Working at home today, so just opened up the link for the match
