Not that im complaining or anything like that, but why do we actually need 10 full size pitches? How many teams do we actually have that would need that much?

First team, reserves, youth, young academy, how many more?

Just wondering thats all.

Aye but surely they dont all play at the same time? Obviously all the full timers would be there by day, but most the youth would be at school, wouldnt they?

One for the first team
One for the reserves
One for van der meyde for solo training
One for greoundsman training.....:dodgy:
And a few round the perimeter to give us space for all of Phil nevilles edge of box shots to land (where row z would be)

c'mon, my guess is we have ten pitches so we can hire out and making a bit of money? "revenue streams" wyness calls it i think

pitches

mate , im just grateful that weve still got 10 pitches , coz everything else has , or is being sold . serious . i take your point , but its real estate , and its among the last weve got . i wish it were 20 (y)

No I just don't think its much of an issue. I suppose its probably not that efficient, but then its only grass.

But we do have several young sides, going right down to U7's I think, so its probably justified there. I think we are developing a dynasty.

Hey if we had all 10 pitches in use and another 10 teams waiting on the sidelines to take over i'd be happy. I just didnt know the use of it myself and wanted to know if anyone else had any ideas of why there were so much. I mean theres obviously a reason for 10, its not like someone said "umm... yeah go on then build 10".

I know your a stickler for youth ghost, so how about this idea: What about having one pitch always open to the kids of liverpool any time of the day, let them play football at the same complex as their heroes for free, and that way we can also get to see if there are any hidden gems there that just havent impressed in trials.

I think it would be a pretty cool idea, or is there anything like this now that I'm not aware of?

Hmm, not very practical to let any little scally to wander into our training facilities. Before long we will have little herberts hanging around on the corner of the gym, and drinking 20:20 or whatever the little fuckers are drinking these days.

I suppose though the various pitches are there so we can have the strikers in one goal, perhaps the midfielders on a different one, etc....
