Yes, I'm on it...
I love playing and following most sports. I grew up playing soccer (football) until I was about 15, played baseball, basketball, ice hockey etc. I follow all of the Pittsburgh sports teams including the University of Pittsburgh, where I graduated.
I've also refereed basketball games at the youth level. Thoroughly enjoy kids right before they start getting an attitude.
I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA but now live in Portland, ME so excuse me if I don't think the big freeze from last week was a big deal. We got about a foot of snow today.
I've always admired how Everton runs their operation. I've followed MLS since its inception and the US National Team since I can remember. But I really only started following the European leagues in 2006. I'm drawn to management who can get the most out of the least, and was a huge fan of Steve Coppell until he left Reading.
I followed Everton from a distance while I was following Reading, and it's no surprise I was interested in both as they were oftentimes after the same players (with Everton usually winning out).
This is the first football forum I've joined, I post on ice hockey forums and a Pitt athletics board, but I just never found a place where there was level-headed discussion about football. I lurked for a while and believe I've found that place!
