'As per usual KP saves England once again.
It suprises me how Collingwood scores so much, one of the worst techniques i've ever seen, he reminds me of my cricket captain.
The Aussies need Brett Lee, he would tear them a new arse.
With it being the first innings, anything over 500 like. Australia's batting line up doesn't scare me but neither does England's bowling attack.
Anderson is too inconsistent, always has been since his debut. Freddie is the dangerman but i'm not sure how we can rely on him when he's injured more then James Vaughan and Swann and Panesar are over-rated.'
Lol.
Not bein funny mate but what do you know about cricket honestly?
500+ is a good score on this pitch? This isn't a 500+ pitch. 400 would be a very good score.
KP didn't save us as much as he did his usual selfish 'get myself out with a ridiculous shot, without thinking about the team'. His score ultimately mediocre, cos it could've been a serious knock.
Batsmen of that innings were Prior and Flintoff. The way they put those runs on at the end, at the pace they did, have given us a fantastic shot at the match. Just a shame that they both ended the day in the Pavilion.
Brett Lee is way past his best, so I don't think he would 'tear them a new arse'.
Paul Collingwood's technique is fantastic. Just because he isn't a flashy batsman doesn't mean he isn't a damn good batsman, and consistent to boot.
James Anderson atm is far and away our best bowler. He's in the form of his life, playing like he did when he first came into the side in the World Cup when he was a lad.
And Swann and Panesar are both very good spin bowlers. So, don't really know where you're getting these opinions from.
