There's banter, and then there's just being dickheads.

If you can't understand why this is an issue then you don't seem to understand the spirit of the game.

I seem to recall yelling a few choice words at Harmison after the first ball he bowled in the last seires,Flintoff caught it at 2nd slip didnt he?.

I despise the Aussie cricket team with a passion born out of many,many years of being beaten but even i'll admit they've given me many memories of great cricket over those years too,Ponting is a hell of a batsman and one i enjoy watching all this booing nonsense is frankly tiresome and its down to nothing more than a few louts being childish.

Its not new i was lucky enough to go to the world cup final at lords back in 1983 west indies v. india loudmouth berk sat a few seats away berating the best batsman i ever saw in the flesh,Viv Richards, calling him crap (very knowledgeable this chap was),Viv didnt make many runs that day (low scoring game i seem to recall) and all this fella did was maon and frikken groan about him not getting runs,him being out and then as his drink induced stupour continued he asked when Viv was batting..it would have been a bit hard for someone of Vivs class to be batting at that point,it was Indias innings,by the time Viv made his entrance he was passed out thankfully.

The point i'm trying to make is this drink makes people stupid and the clowns of the so called "barmy army" really want to shut the frig up sit back and watch what so far has been a very interesting series.

I'm all for banter the more of it the better but booing is fecking childish and shows an utter lack of respect for our oponents,i dont care that the Aussie crowds do it,we should be above it after all one series win in 22 years doesnt mean we really have a lot to shout about does it?

O.K. Point Taken . If I'm honest , It's not for me , but I'm fukn sick of us being the " Bigger Men " , and letting the Oppo' work it up us , yet giving fuk all back . Case in point , The Baby - Sitter .
Aussies / Indians / Pakistanis / S Africans / ALL GIVE IT OUT . REGULAR .

One final point , ILL HAVE A 1'R WITH ANYONE THAT PUNTER GETS A STANDING OVATION AT THE OVAL . REGARDLESS OF THE SERIES OUTCOME . AS A BAT , HE'S TOP CLASS , BUT HE'S LIKED A MOAN OVER THE YEARS . Oh , and yes , Cricket has seen an influx of lower league footy fans , who , generally are Ted's , but , live and let live , I say .

I know what you're saying mate yes big Rick is the villian of the piece but honestly i just hate it that this sort of crap crept into our game

Banter yes booing for my money no call for it whoever it is.

Anyways lets hope our luck holds out from friday onwards being a natural pessimist i just get the feeling we'll slip up somewhere,the oval to be precise so lets hope we can wrap the series up at headingley
