Aye like the windies before them mate, its been a painful privelidge to have seen this aussie side over the last 20 years just glad it was in my lifetime, lol, something to bore me grandkids with.

KP was doing nothing and funnily enough i dont think we've missed him if anything it pulled them together a bit more just think back to the winter and his "captancy" debacle things havent been right since then well until now.

Flintoff like an old war horse he won a test for us and generally pulled the team round him but as you say if he was a horse he'd have been shot a big rethink on the next team we put out,we aint good enough to play 5 batsmen and 5 bowlers..

Strauss after finally getting the captians armband after the selectors stopped sucking KP's undersized manhood has become a great captian, not as good as Vaughan was..yet but already in the same league as Hussian (who in fairness had the best coach in the world with him in his time..even he admits that)but as i say its how we move on from here its south africa next:( and we dont normally do well there.

But yeah they will win the ashes i just hope theres none of the daft nonsense that followed 2005 that was embarrasing all it did was rile the aussies up,lets not forget the last time we met they won 5-0 so the fact we've battled to a scrappy 2-1 win in this series isnt something to crow about becuase for me this has been the weirdest test seires since me dad dragged me in from the garden back in 1974 and was told to watch the cricket on the tv.

I bet Ponting will look back to that sunny sunday in cardiff and spit nails..if they'd have won there etc.

I generally concur , mate , though KP is class . Shouldnt have gone to IPL , but coz he did he pig-headedly carried on , injured . Thus , never got into any form .
As for 2005 . It was merited . It had been 18 years since we'd won it at all , and 24 since a home win . That side lifted the Country . Flintoff was a genuine hero .
Fuk , when you see some of the clowns who get gongs , Mr. Mandelson , they earned theirs , except perhaps Colly , who has S.J.O.B.E. on his - Simon Jones' O.B.E.
Nasser saved us . Agreed . Flethcher was good , sometimes very good , but too intransigent for me . if you don't bowl 90 mph , you cant play for us . Dropped Thorpe , retained Bell . Plus , let Troy Cooley go home .

Just a point on this game ; actually our best chance is if they do get 300 or so . Then the pressure goes onto them . They have to play shots then , but also look to stay in .
TELLING YOU ; GET COLLY ON WITH HIS CUTTERS . NOW !!!

Videos showed it was out.

What more do you need? ;)

The video showed nothing.

Pixels. Your looking at millimeters from a camera 100 yards away and on an angle. Balls pitching outside the line given LB, balls hitting bats and pads being given out. Im switching it off, its rigged.

You want to see a good contest and your giving decisions based on 1/24th of second camera from 100 yards away on an angle. Forget that the second opinion is blocked, its just cheating. You want to win so bad, have them.

We'll play the old fashioned way.
