I definitely enjoyed the lighter moderating touch and extra slack given in the past. I stopped posting for a whole because I felt a lot of my enjoyment and the fun of the forum had been stripped away.
Still post here and elsewhere but it's a bit more serious now.

Everywhere’s boring now. Can’t say anything for the fear of offending anyone, and woe betide anyone that says something even in jest that someone disagrees with. Christ the tears that come with it.

For a society that’s constantly bleeting about censorship, we’ve done pretty well in doing it ourselves.

How come some members get the snazzy red 'banned' sticker and some don't? (just noticed he doesn't have it!)

Cos its not a perma ban.

I also think there are different levels of perma or there used to be.

Sometimes people just get banned, sometimes people get banned and their whole posting history is deleted.
