BBC should come up with More content, and Less Channels.

That's what I mean about BBC 3. Who watches it? It keeps getting re-branded. From being a celeb-entertainment channel, to more "yoof" orientated, now its trying to be a channel for new mass comedy (that no one ever watches).

BBC 4 is a good channel for the arts. BBC 1 and 2 are your flagships. I think if they're going to keep BBC 3 they want to start doing what Channel 4 first did and make taboo breaking, edgy, less commercial programs and use it as a channel to break them in...or atleast take some gambles rather than commisioning Titty Titty Bang Bang series 2.

He did a few yesterday(well, early hours) also. Don't make a big thing about it. You know the way he gets. Ego, running around naked singing Barry Manilow songs, and all that.

I fail to see how a state supported institution can openly pay so much money to vastly over rated employs, in the main people they helped make. I like Top Gear but it beggars belief that the presenters are all earning a million pound plus for doing a job that most on here would jump at, none of them are particularly talented. BBC radio is pushing a head with digital broadcasting, its costing a fortune, that is something that commercial channels should be doing. Lets face it they'd rather pay for the atrocious Strictly Come Dancing than a sports event. Screw the BBC board, they should see to cut backs starting with obscene wages, duplication of coverage and unnecessary expansion rather than demand more from the Brit public...........................greed prats the lot of them(n)

Don't like the licence, don't like the rules that say if you have a radio you have to have a tv licence. Don't like 98% of what they show. For every 'Planet Earth' there are scores of 'My Family' and 'My Hero' not to mention the vacuous expanse of soap 'doctors' 'holby' 'eastenders'. And they can shove Dick van Dyke and all his lame shows where they can shove 'Murder she f***** wrote'. Mindless pap. Also, I wouldn't give Chris Moyles the steam off my urine, let alone a contract to annoy the nation. And Wogan is stepping down, not only was he allowed to give Eurovision up (to Graham Norton of all w*nkers) but now Chris Evans is taking his radio 2 slot. Get rid of Barker as well, with McCoist gone there is no one remotely funny or entertaining on 'QoS'.

Ummmmmmmmmm Suits mate is that you:D

It's a throwback certainly , but it's a worldwide institution , and is unique , globally . For those of us who have spent extended periods overseas , it's a goddamn lifesaver .
You'l miss it when it's gone , I'm telling you .
Possibly the only advertisement free media on Earth .

The BBC should remain as it is -
How can any of us know whether it's over staffed?
The fact that ll thr political parties have accused it of being biased against them at some time or other suggests that it is relatively impartial.

Having said that, I can't stand Jeremy Vine, self opinionated wally.
