China and North Korea are hardly problem free. Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen and a few others are repressive.

Poor people in general are the most generous in my experience too.

Yeah of course, not trying to say everything is perfect, just referring to my own experiences across Europe, Australasia, Africa and Asia. Never been to either of the Americas and I doubt very much that I will unless things change dramatically. Reckon the US will see a massive drop off in tourism over the next few years.
