The 'big chill' in Brisbane

I stayed in the Blue Mountains in July many years back, and I can tell you it got ruddy freezing there at night. It can definitely get quite cold over in Oz, though not so often in Brisbane, I understand.

yeah, spend a bit of time there on a regular basis, they have crazy weather 18 one day 41 the next

Arrived at Katoomba Train Station in a drizzly mist, 'twas like something out of the Lost Boys & enhanced by the locals, including an abusive parrot in the hotel/pub that was like the devil incarnate.
Went there in blistering heat as well fitting the handrail at the viewing point for the 3 Sisters.

Katoomba is a wonderfully odd place. The mist rolls down the street like you're in a Chris De Burgh video.

Actually laughed here, there is one of these in Kirkby.
