I might have been too subtle in the Moshiri thread… but I do wonder if the success of the club has been less important than using Everton to offload a chunk of Usmanov’s ill-gotten fortune to keep the law and/or tax man off of him. That's a big loss for the forum. I skimmed the Delph thread yesterday morning and noticed it was a festering brew of racial tension (real or imagined), something about covid vaccines and Mooms with the red banner on display.
The Benitez thread looks pure poison.

E Sector in general is a battleground at the moment. People in various stages of denial, acceptance and outright despair all going head to head.
I’m not too optimistic about the upcoming season either, but not at the stage I feel the need to start flinging poo at other posters.
That said, knowing our fan base, one big signing and a good result against the Saints and we’ll all be chatting Champions league again…
