The bomb shelter thread.

Wrong, my friend. Vegans catered for!View attachment 181160
I'm pretty sure tea is a plant pollinated by insects and the leaves wouldn't be there without that. Any strict vegan (not the one I met who was "vegan apart from fish" ffs) would have none of it. If they do then they're just kidding themselves.

Even if tea WAS vegan ... is it their preferred one otherwise they'll have to tell everyone how vegan and upset they are.

Really and truly they shouldn't be sanctimoniously existing by eating the unborn seed embryos of any organism and should only subsist by sucking pebbles.

Obviously as a geologist by training I'm against that.

Nah, not having that. Tea comes in bags....from Yorkshire.

They're feisty, those extreme vegans. They'd actually physically fight you if they had the strength!

Isn't only if you force the bees to pollinate the flowers. I know vegans who won't eat avocados because the farmers transport bees in to pollinate the avocado bushes/ trees/ whatever. So it's forced labour. To be honest, is someone took me in a lorry then dropped me in the middle of an all ypu can eat buffet, I'd be well happy!

Actually sounds like a holiday I'd pay for! ?

My mate’s a vegan and won’t eat honey for the same reason.
They’re proper weird.

Fit and raring to go for deadline day Larbs. The day when I can officially judge Moshiri.
i voted no on him the day he arrived...never saw eye-to-eye with us selling out.

In the Czech Republic and I have to use German importers to get British tea. Always end up supplementing the tea and malt vinegar (European vinegar is rank) order with the essentials, like Hula Hoops, Chocolate Oranges and Weetabix.

Europe is great and everything, but it's a heck of a lot better with Beef flavour Monster Munch.

i lived in Prague for 6 months a while back...loved it: people, culture, sights, pace...struggled with the language, tho'.

whereabouts are you?

haha Weetabix is also on the menu, my lad loves them. Rewe (common supermarket chain) actually sell them for a reasonable €3.

i miss Shredded Wheat...all they've got here are Toppas which taste of plastic.

also agree on the lack of decent vinegar...here it's very mild & watery...and to add to that you never find any decent chips: it's always this thin pommes frites guff.

but the beer is better, so swings 'n roundabouts.
