The scabs wanted to kill it, and now they will practically get in most seasons - really hope the non-scab clubs, including ourselves, can sort things out and upset the cartel by doing well in the league.

Uefa are an absolute joke, just like the pl - they should have let them all go off and play their own boring league every week.

It will be interesting to see what novel and ludicrous ways the league and uefa will come up with to get the scabs into it every year, at whoever’s expense that may be.

New reforms for next season.

It’s no longer being given to Liverpool or United based on past merit if they miss out on top 4.

The two spots are now going to the two leagues based on previous season’s performance which nearly almost includes England so that Liverpool or United can get CL in fifth place.

Honestly, UEFA must think fans are completely stupid

Not only that, if English teams win the champions league and europa league and dont end up in the top 5 there will be 7 English teams in the champions league the following season.

At least they have reduced the 10 game minimum to 8 games. Still a mess though.

From what they have said before it’s capped at 7 teams from one league.

But all 7 could be in the Champions League. If an English team wins the Champions league and another English team wins the europa league and they both finish outside the top 5.
The only issue with that is.. if the teams that win the league cup and/ or FA cup are not among those 7 teams, they won’t be in Europe the following year

the premier league have VAR and the refs to ensure any threat to the status quo are seen off. They will make sure the top 5 stays fairly static.

For Uefa its about global TV revenue, they know that the biggest global audiences watch when the well known teams from well known leagues play each other. More people would watch Real Madrid Vs West Ham than Real Madrid Vs Meistriliiga (Estonia League Champions). I think this will continue until we probably only have teams from 8 European countries in the champions league each season and most of them from; England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France.
