Now that we can finally put the relegation worries behind us, it’s time to return to what Evertonians excel at: nominating one of the club’s playing staff as the target of our collective ire.

It’s been an eternity since we’ve been able to focus our collective anger on a single player. I fear we’re at risk of hating them all (except, perhaps, Branners, Illy, Beto, and Alcaraz), and that simply isn’t the Evertonian way.

I propose we seize this opportunity during the EPL break to settle on one or perhaps two players that we can fully embrace booing and generally expressing our disapproval of.

In father Ted there was an episode where father Jack becomes all nice and serene, i believe we collectively entered that stage, so enjoy it, it doesn't last long!
