The Club shop offers a really piss poor customer service

I ordered some goods on June 24th paying by credit card, I also ordered a 2009/10 season membership. Until now I got nothing from the Club shop, I reported last week by mail that the goods and the membership package are still missing, they told me to wait for 17 working days. Today after 21 working days the goods still have not arrived so I wrote a mail in which I complained again. Here is the original text:

Dear staff,

I want to inform you that I still have not received my order EVE-***** from June 24th 2009, I also have still not received my 2009/10 season membership card/package.

As you tried to put me off from day to day by telling me fairytales about having to wait for 17 working days which are now for sure over (21 working days gone and still no goods) I am curious if you now will do your job and look after the lost goods or if you will tell me another fine excuse.

Anyway if the goods won't arrive until this Friday I will report Visa Card to refund me the money as I am sick of paying for never receiving goods.
I will also report this case on the "Grand Old Team" fan forum to warn other Toffees about your piss poor service. I am really angry now about not being taken serious by your staff and about being put off from day to day with other fairytale stories.

If I would live in England I would make the journey up and kick their heads in personally. ******* bastards. Never again will I order anything nor will I become a season member !!!!!!!!!!!! :rant:
 
In the past when ordering something from abroad, i've been told it could take up to 28 days, 17 days sounds like a very odd statement for them to make.

What shipping option did you take?

Taking that sort of tone in your email won't get you very far with them at the club shop either, and will only make them put your complaint to the bottom of the pile.
 
I can only judge them on my experience. I ordered a top online, it said 3-5 working days, I got it in 3. So I cant complain.

Clearly you have been treated like a mug, not great from our new partners.
 

I've just had a piss-poor, hence 'The Everton Direct' experience myself...

Ordered 4 retro tops, you know the famous 1984-86 tops. Well happy I could get the old mid-eighties designs with the 'Le Coq' on em. Anyway several days passed without any sign of the postman/courier knocking on my door with the Everton retro shirts. Mmm, so I checked my account details.. showing up as still on back order??? Err what's goin 'ere den? Give the CS a ring only for them to say one of the tops(86 CWC') are not in stock yet. 'Oh ok' I said, 'When will you expect the shirt to be in stock?; 'Several days' he said, Ok then, I'll wait'. Another several days pass and still no shirts... Give them another ring, 'Oh err the 86'(I'll call it the Lineker top) is out of stock'. Right then, that'll be at least another week!
Getting a little pissed by now, so I give the CS another ring.. Dunno what's happening with the 86' Lineker shirt, cause it ain't showing up anywhere? Jeeps! I think...'Err what about doing a dummy order?' I say. 'Well it's looks like they've took the shirt off for some reason'. 'Well that's that then' I said. So carried on with the order of the 3 other shirts, albeit without my favourite shirt.... Add another week and a bit they arrived!!!

You know me, not after any sympathy like, just wanna make them or anyone/everyone aware it's not the way to run a successful business. I hate conspiracy theories and all that, but I can see a paradox shaping up here...:unsure:

If anyone else has had a bad experience, let us know and if theres a fair few, will forward to the club.

I just hope for 'our' sake that my and Austrian Toffee's experience is just a blip, not one of many and therefore shouldn't be put off buying online.

Anyone know as to why the 86' season shirt is no longer on the site?
 
As if it would only be for the extremely long period of waiting for the goods (nearly one month, placed and paid by credit card on June 24th, today - July 20th still not arrived !!!) this would be more or less acceptable to the buyer, falling beyond the pale is the way these stupid lot is dealing with customer complaints.

If they would have said "Oh sorry, we will check if the goods got lost by airmail post" or "Sorry for the delay, we have a lot of enquiries at the moment/a new staff, etc." I would have been able to more or less accept the way it is. But their snobbish arrogant reaction (they seem to have the "he bought by credit card, we have got the money, that will do" attitude) made me that angry.
 
On a lighter note I went to Liverpool One Everton Two for the first time today and the staff that served me were a couple of friendly cute blondies in royal blue. i like (y)
 
Quick Update: Until yesterday still no goods, no reaction by mail, nothing. So I adviced Visa Card to reverse the full amount because of a fraudulent use of the club shop.(n)

It should be a God given right to throat cut these bastards once and for all .....:rant:

So not only is the online booking s.h.i.t.e ...has anyone else noticed that the range of "stuff" in the everton shops is crap?

I know its all new with kit bag but you would have all the little daft novilty prezzies sorted...look at most of the "BIG" clubs you can get all kinds of stuff with RS Manure arsenal etc etc etc printed on it....Grrrr:@
