The Club World Club

It's good for the non-European clubs. They get exposure and prize money that is usually reserved only for European clubs. The world game is very Eurocentric, so I think efforts to move away from that are welcome.
It's good, financially, for those taking part, for sure, but it'll just skew the competition in South American leagues further, making the likes of River and Boca impervious to competition.

This is part of the Cival war between UEFA and FIFA.

This is FIFA's answer to the CL - which is one of the most lucrative competitions in football and gives Uefa significant power. FIFA has always resented this and UEFA for it.

This is Fifa trying to rebalance the power the CL gives UEFA and get their nose in the trough of the the lucrative TV & Commercial deals inter club international competition has brought UEFA.

nations league.
no jeopardy champions league until the last 16.
intertoto, 2nd and 3rd division uefa cup type who knows what sub cups.
useless learn nothing international friendlies.
out of touch milk cup, worthingtons, boddingtons zenith systems, rumbelows, who knows who cares what league cup.
a now very jaded FA cup that's been messed with and opted out of and replays removed and the twin towers should have been saved, and semi finals where.
club world cup that seems entirely played between saudi owned teams from numerous continents and played... you guessed it... saudi!

And now, on top of all this hatred and audience 'tune out', they've created something else to dislike immensely.

oh oh, almost forgot, Olympic football with ever changing rules and senior player allowance and the crying that goes on because of 'even more games' etc.

Cut the games, cut the money, allow audiences to breath and digest a round of fixtures instead of the force fed foie gras system of more is more is more is money.

Enough!
