The club's new motto

Ha! Bet some of you opened this thread in a steaming puce-faced fit of rage thinking what travesty has the club brought about itself now. But no - there is no new motto, that im aware of at least,... I was just joining in with the clickbait fad. If it gets traffic to improve Danny's biscuit selection so much the better.

A discussion in the tread about new kits raised the attempted dropping of the "nil satis nisi optimum" on the kit and other insignia a few years back. It should never happen in my view, but if it did ... what should be the club's new motto reflecting our current plight and values?

Time for a bit of fun. Come up with some here. My initial suggestion is paraphrasing Pink Floyd:

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the Toffees way.

Maybe we could go further and replace the badge to go with it .... Edward Munch's "The Scream" perhaps.

Maybe just shorten it to "nil"

Reads better in Latin :
"Priusquam te deprimas cum tristitia, primum fac ne sis, immo Evertonianus."

Replace top of the tower with the above and have a new motto: "nisi caseum in pane satis est"
