If people are going to dismiss Charity Shields, then we need to have a think about this:

European Super Cup - glorified Charity Shield
Intertoto Cup - nothing trophy. Three teams won it - Villa, PSG, Troyes. How can 3 teams win 1 trophy? I know 'how' it happened, but its worthless.
Division 2 & Division 3 titles? Really?
