By your posts I'd say it ended some time ago.
But, in line with corporate capitalism and the Stereophonics (and because I work in a large high school) there's just enough education to 'perform'' taking place. No room for critical thinking or critique or challenging the accepted histories such as empire and colonialism. The arts are dropping off and being defunded and it's usually there you find the biggest critics of capitalism.
So, basically the youth are using the internet to learn which is controlled, just like you are, by corporate interests to guide you to their preferred 'information'. And it's working.
