Everybody loved Bobby Stinson, but today we're here to honor his Replacement.
RIP Slim Dunlap, the friendly and cheerful Minnesotan whose fingerprints and guitar parts are all over the last two Replacements LPs and who later put out a couple of very worthy rock'n'roll records on his own. He suffered a massively debilitating stroke around 2012 that effectively ended his musical career and now, owing to complications to that stroke, Death has collected him at age 73. He took what life brought him and didn't make a fuss about it. Fare thee well, Slimbob.
