Certainly one that makes you think "He's only a few years older than me ! " is Sean Hughes.
Very very sad, saw him loads pre TV, he was a fantastic stand up comedian to see in small venues.

He was the mighty scary shark voice in the rubadubbers.Very very sad, saw him loads pre TV, he was a fantastic stand up comedian to see in small venues.

No, it does not. Cirrhosis of the liver is where liver cells become scarred by inflammation so badly that they do not renew themselves. Eventually so many cells are destroyed that liver function becomes impaired.but cirrhosis only comes from drink doesn't it?
Oh no. I used to love Sean's Show. Very surreal and innovative. It's the ones that come out of nowhere like that that hit you, very intelligent guy, sad news indeed

Gutted about Kevin Cadle, his voice was fantastic, he had that look of someone who stays up 3 nights a weeak till 5am watching the NFL, bit like me haha I know Dara was very pleasent to look at but she was no replacement for Kev!!
So many comedians are tortured souls.Their happiness is in that of making others smile/laugh.Very sad news indeed. There was a comedian mate of his on TS earlier today, (unrelated booking to Sean), and he said that he knew he had taken to drink again, and was living a pretty unfulfilling life. Has no wife or partner, no kids, or had I should say, and it seems he had reconnected to a friend in a bottle that he hadnt talked to for a while.
Very sad.
Went to see him in August at the Edinburgh fringe, his show was awful, he was not a patch of his former self,it was obvious he was ill then,he appeared quite lethargic,it is sad because he was very funny in his heyday, RIP Sean HughesSo many comedians are tortured souls.Their happiness is in that of making others smile/laugh.Very sad news indeed.
You look at the likes of Robin Williams , Bill Hicks etc.You can always see it afterwards ,the fact that they were troubled in some way.Went to see him in August at the Edinburgh fringe, his show was awful, he was not a patch of his former self,it was obvious he was ill then,he appeared quite lethargic,it is sad because he was very funny in his heyday, RIP Sean Hughes
