Where does "pop your clogs" come from ?
Is it a Scouse phrase ?

Northern rather than Scouse I think.
"Pop" meant pawn, so if you "Popped your clogs" you'd pawned them because you had no more use for 'em. That's what my gran told us as kids anyway.
