Made an incredible journey from birth in the rural poor deep south of the US to her final days on the shores of beautiful Lake Zurich as a respected Swiss citizen of stature.

Saw her special talents on show a couple of times once with the Ikettes in the 70s. That was unforgettable. Then in her second pomp in the 80s with her young beau Bryan Adams. Rocked the house down that night.

A dynamic artist who was simply the best as what she did.
