Very sad to hear this, I remember when Bully Hunter caught him a sucker punch and damaged his mouth badly, Lee when back for seconds and out punched Hunter with ease. Tough player that RIP little fella.

Went to a Parliamentary Beer Drinker of Year awards dinner back in the 90’s and a few of us got invited back to the HoC by an MP. We sat on the terrace by the Thames and the only other table that was occupied was by Francis Lee, who was an extremely successful business man, with his MP. Our MP was a bit put out that we were only interested in the other table.
RIP Francis Lee. A good player and subsequently a big part in the Man City revival if memory serves.
