R.I.P herbie flowers - unforgettable creepy baseline on the Horsell common heat ray from the classic war of the worlds album.
Herbie Flowers was the bassist on one of my favourite albums of the time 'David Live' by David Bowie, he was always easy to pick out in a band as he had instinctive movement and always seemed to enjoy himself and appeared to be in his own little world.
He must have certainly been well thought of as hi credit list is stellar.
