Normally when a team has inferior players, you can usually rely on them to put in a better effort than the superior side as they know that is their only hope to get something out of the game. Not only do we always go into these games with an inferior team, our players never raise their game to make up for their lack of quality which is why Derbies (especially in recent times) have become an absolute stroll for the RS. Their players treat these games properly, even though we are in no way a threat to them in terms of the league their players understand the magnitude of Derby games and try their utmost to win every one.

Our players on the other hand treat these matches like our fans have come to treat them. Scared to death of them and can't wait to get them over with and if we manage to nick a point absolutely run for the hills with it. For once I'd like to see some element of professional pride on the pitch, every big game this season we have bottled before a ball has even been kicked.

A Derby win would be some kind of silver lining following this rotten season so you'd think the players would give everything for just once in their mediocre careers. I won't hold my breath...

Not watching it, not going to bother looking for the result, it's a foregone conclusion. Anything other than a heavy Liverpool win would be one of the biggest sporting upsets in history, far surpassing Foreman/Moorer or Douglas/Tyson.

Hancock dismayed.webp

Everton fan watches derby!!!!

My team for the derby.

Pickford
Coleman Keane Mori Baines
Gueye Klaassen
Walcott Davies Bolasie
Tosun

Robles Martina Jagielka Schneiderlin Vlasic Rooney Calvert-Lewin

If Gueye isn't fit move Davies back bring Vlasic in. Should be no fear in that team as apart from Coleman and Baines they have not played many derbies between them.

We are dead meat. Lets face it fat boy will go ultra defensive with an attacking passive lineup, we will concede in first 5 mins push forward a bit and be 4-0 down by half time with fat boy slobbering on his gum like the donkey of a manager he is.
Which one of our players has the stomach for a fight?

I’d just like you all to know, it’s highly likely that our defeat next week will coincide with the death of my passion for all things Everton.

Secondly. I searched ‘ bumming gifs’, and Superman appeared.

I did likewise and got something labelled “David Platt off Corrie”
