The Derby

Free hit this. All the pressure's on them. They'll be huge favourites and they absolutely cannot afford to drop points if they want to remain in the title race.

We've won our winnable home games going into it, avoiding all banana-skins, with a bonus point at Chelsea and taken all the pressure off ourselves.

If we lose, I'm ok with it, as they're a very good side and we'll still have a truck load of positives going forward. If we get anything, it's an absolute bonus and derails their title push.

Ideal build up to a derby really, in many ways.

All the pressure is on them deffo mate, but I wouldn't say there is no pressure on us. We've spent a wagon load of cash (so we can't use the money excuse anymore) and this will be a pointer on how far we've come, we put in a poor performance, and get beat convincingly, that's gonna hurt.

...i’m not dreading it to the extent I normally do. I don’t expect us to win, I expect we’ll get beat but it will be a good test of where we are at this stage in time.

I’d like us to be competitive without being reckless but there’s a reason why they’ve accumulated so many points and it will be a very difficult game for us.

Feeling 2-2 we will concede last 5 min because of the pressure from them, but we will suprise them. Maybe a bit early to win there but we will not lose

They're a much better side, far higher up the league and have spent far, far more. We're a vastly improved squad, but we're quite plainly still slowly learning the Silva system on the back of a car crash of a season where everything went horribly wrong, whereas this is Klopp's 4th season of Liverpool consistently investing in his ideas backing him aggressively, spending £150m on a goalkeeper and centre back.

They were ropy at first under Klopp just as we are a bit now. They lost plenty of games in his first year or two there, so there's no reason at all to be overly down if we come off second best here. I'm not saying losing derbies isn't grim, but this is about as laid back as I've ever felt about one.

The last real games of pressure they played in were against City and Chelsea and they got walloped in both and were lucky to come away with a point in each game.

Its a free hit for us - we are sat in 6th and have 2 winnable homes games to come after whereas a defeat for them lesves them likely 5 behind City in which they know themselves would mean the title push would be near enough over.

They also have to field a full strength side against PSG wednesday night and will have to exert alot of energy in that game if they are to get a result. It also means a few days less prep for our game.

I feel if the refs dont spoil the game with a usual pen to them or red card to us then we have a chance.

Head says 1-1 (Shaqiri for them)

Heart says 1-0 to us.

They have played 6 home games in the league and conceded once.

Think he should just go for it, make it end to end and hope they miss there chances and we score ours.
