It's been a while since we've had one. I've had a few, not too many that you don't think you're capable of normal actions. That is, until you fry some bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms and then the mushrooms, bacon and tomatoes, the pan, and the oil end up splattered on the floor. Not in a heap of course, everything scattered to the four winds, oil coating every surface. Oil and tomato crap on my trousers. I confess, I had a 'small' whisky, gathered up as much detritus that I could see, had a butty, and threw a load of newspapers on the floor.

Not exactly a tale for the ages but feckin ' pissed off, and I'm still hungry !

Buy an air fryer , you could have made the food in half the time with no mess and rewarded yourself with a large whisky !

That's not happening, mainly because I don't have one. Also going to try and open a tin of salmon. I now know how Captain Scott felt like.

How did your early morning trip to A&E go ?
I bet you're still waiting to be triaged for the 3rd degree burns and amputated thumb !
At least the whisky will have numbed the pain a little

I guess when you get older like me either your memory goes or you reduce your intake

The intake definitely goes down , 4 pints is the limit for me these days .
Not that I'm pissed just that my body tells me no more. I usually squeeze in a couple of Irish Whiskey then I'm on my way back home

I didn't cook all the mushrooms. Hopefully a better outcome ; bacon, egg, beans, tomatoes, black pudding seems very appealing.

You wanna try openi g a Fray Bentos pie when your pissed, thats some level of manual dexterity involved there.
I've been in the garden wacking the hell out of the tin with a hammer and chisel in the earlier hours of the morning. Like a scouse Peter Sutcliffe..
