The rumoured takeover guys really do sound ideal actually, have really revolutionised their team by the looks in the areas we've been calling out for our board to do.
Stadium, commercial aspects e.t.c.
Taken them from nowhere and made them contenders

That Mike bloke saying "#rumoursarefun" is pretty revealing to be honest. Probably went to Goodison once to see what it was about, and left it at that. Similar to most of the potential 'buy outs' of the past decade. Just a convenient time to start resurfacing the rumours before the AGM.

Not happening. Vault me.

20,000 sell outs every week plus (14,000 season ticket holders plus 3, 000 waiting list ) they must be doing something right.
Not bad for an MLS founded in 1995 ,succesful on the pitch too. Would it be too much to want these guys instead of a neavou niche oligarch.

Basically says he's good at building stadiums, great on Twitter, interacts with fans and is generally a good deal maker.

Sounds like he wouldn't be the worst person in the world to buy us.

nobody is allowed to have two b's in rob unless you're arjen robben! unless is real, in which case he can put how many b's as he fecking likes!

Though i put very little credence into this rumor, but if there was truth in it (there isn't) this KC group would be ideal. They have built their club into a model franchise in the MLS and have are one of the best run franchises in America for all sports. They built a brand new stadium that is absolutely beautiful. I went there for a US national team match and it was a great atmosphere. They have great fan relations and have thousands of people on a waiting list to pick up season tickets for the MLS which is unbelievable considering KC is in the Midwest and not some hipster Northwest community like Portland or Seattle (Midwesterners are known for loving their American football and thumbing their nose at soccer). The group has invested quite a bit of money into the club and are doing it the “right way”. While teams like NYCFC are buying up old decreped players like Lampard and Pirlo, Sporting KC are spending their money on young exciting prospects.

But sadly it won't happen. You can bet your house on at least 1 takeover rumor a season. I remember back in my more naive years how excited I would get about takeovers. Not getting my hopes up now.
